just in case you were wondering...
this is what a little girl who lives in hawaii and is apparently allergic to pinneapple looks like after lunch. she also had/has a terrible rash and hives on her legs from the juice that is still here 36 hours and three doses of benadryl later. poor thing, and she loves pinneapple.
the other day i left my running shoes outside on accident. they were in a covered location but still got soaked because the wind was kicking rain all over the place. so, yesterday afternoon when i went to put them on i was bummed when i found they were soaked and decided to bring them in and blow dry them so they didn't get too nasty. after velzy and i dried them for a few minutes we took a break. when i came back into the bathroom i looked down at my shoe and saw that a little slug had taken up residence in my shoe and came out to see what all the ruckus was about.
all i have to say is- i am so glad i didn't just put on my shoes and hit the pavement. squish!

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you checked your shoe before going! That is seriously a nasty thought especially if you went sans socks.

Poor V. Allergic to pineapple? Few things could be worse, especially while living in Hawaii.
