for the love of love

i have really gotten into getting random little decorations for holidays ever since we moved. here are a few of the v-day ones. i love the little terra cotta heart ornaments hanging from the ivy stuff on the book shelf- which looks really cluttered in this picture.

so yea, i am excited for valentines day. last year we started a tradition of having a love luau. we have yummy food (kalua pork, mac salad, sticky rice, pineapple, and a good dessert) and eat on the floor on beach towels, possibly watching a surf video. a few years ago luke and i started making cards for each other instead of buying stuff for love day. so tonight we are going to make our cards. this is his from 2 years ago that i just found, and don't worry, it's in a scrapbook now never to be lost again.
and, deal of the week- found at the target $1 section yesterday- two things i love brown and birds- can't go wrong for a buck!

Oh man, you can come to my BBQ if I can come to your luau!! That sounds soooo GREAT! We do strawberry pancakes and eggs, since we're not all together in the morning. But we might have to try a luau next year- or maybe even thursday b/c it sounds sooo yummy!!! cute decorations!

Oh my gosh! Did Luke sew that eyelet trim on? So funny. I like your decorations & that bag is too cute. It's always nice to have those kind of totes around.
