its fun to stay at the YMCA

so i am now a working mom. not a hardcore one, just an 8 hours a week one at the YMCA so that i can get a free gym membership and baby sitting and only pay $20 a month for luke. when we moved we tried to transfer to a different gold's gym and they wanted to charge us over $100 a month for the two of us and babysitting...umm, no. so my friend told me about the YMCA and that she works one day a week and gets all the benefits- awesome! i had never been to a YMCA, that i can remember, and this place is huge and so cool. i can drop velzy off and go swim (in a heated pool all winter, oh joy!) or do yoga, or lift, or well, you get the point. i am very excited about this! today was my first time working and i was there for five hours and velzy was such a trooper, she totally cruzed and was so happy, even skipping her am nap and you could not tell. hope she doesn't mind when luke and i go back this evening to work out!
let's see, other than that there really is not a whole lot going on... i wish i had something fun to blog about more often, i find myself not blogging because i feel sort of boring lately! i know there are websites that have ideas for blogging/journaling, that could be fun...

here is a few pics of a pumpkin patch we stopped by... ever since last october when velzy was too small to go to the patch i have wanted to take some cool pics with her and some pumpkins. so when we went to one i was really excited, but of course, she would not look at the camera for the life of her and i didn't get any good ones. maybe i will try again...

at least she looked at the camera for a second. and feeding rocks to the goats.

That is so cool that you scored that deal. Love it. You are my hero. I can't believe you are working out while you are pregnant. I don't workout when I'm not pregnant. I'm so glad you feel well enough to do it. Even better that Velzy had fun, too!

I love pics at the pumpkin patch. The colors turn out so fantastic.

I love these pictures. I loved that post about your mom too. Your house looks so cool. You have the perfect space for all those picture frames. The black and white pictures are beautiful too.

Your mom is a quiet servant of the Lord. I am always hearing about different acts of service she does for people. She takes care of a family in our ward, she throws showers for people in need, and she bakes a good apple crisp. She was so excited to come visit you. I'm glad she got to be there for V's first birthday.

Nice deal at the Y. Way to go on getting paid and being able to use the gym. It's good that you can work out right now.

V looks so cute in the pumpkins. It must be cool to have a real pumpkin patch near by. you can't find too many of those around here.I can't wait to do fun things like that with Makena.

SO, I didn't realize where you lived and I asked Ton if you were going to the Bloggers Lunch. Bummer you live so far away.
