flooding

i am flooding this post with pictures of lola, hoping that it's not flooding water into our downstairs tonight.  it's raining a lot right now.  and lots of lovely lightning is cracking all over the place, its so pretty.

enjoying her index finger

i love how those long whispy hairs on the top of her hair catch the light in those pictures. ha. they may be getting cut off soon.

i know i say it all the time but i really like her.  she is so happy and such a good little one.  it's hard to believe that she is only 3 months old, it feels like she has been around forever.  i really wish she would preform for the camera cause she has the best laugh, but no matter what anytime i get out the camera she stops.  i tried to have ivy get a movie, but apparently 3 year olds only like taking pictures because they come up on the back of the camera.
oh, and does anyone have or have a child with eczema?  twice now lola's face, and this last time her face, neck, and ears, has broken out really bad in what i am pretty sure is eczema.  not cool.  i hear aquaphor is the best thing for it, but if anyone has any other suggestions let me know!

So cute! She looks like Ivy in the pictures on her stomach. No experience with the eczema, but my brother swears by cetaphil. Maybe you could try that out?

Playing catch up on your blog is tons of fun--so many fun pictures and witty captions. Your life looks very colorful and bright, and that baby is such a cutie!
When my babies get excema I slather their skin with Crisco and then put them in long sleeves until they are moist again. ha ha--sounds like a recipe but it works

CaRazy rain! Sorry about the possible excema. At least it doesn't seem to bother her. I'm hoping for a lot of sunshine and ocean...I'll call you soon to make it happen.

Did Ivy look like Lola when she was an infant? We use Cetaphil with Eve.

nice seeing you, lola, and ivy yesterday!
about eczema, my nephew had that as an infant and they found out he was allergic to nuts, eggs, gluten, and dairy. yeah, so my sister had to change her diet since she was breastfeeding...but lola's case doesn't look so bad. so she may or may not have a food allergy.
but i hear aquafor is good for it.

Cutest. She is so sassy already. (Or maybe it's just the shirt.)
Don't babies just have baby acne?
Amaya had heat rash a lot, and it looks somewhat like eczema. Especially 'cause she was a chubby one.

So cute! Micah has eczema too, but it has been so long, I don't remember exactly what I did. I think I used Cortaid though. I love the clothes you put her in. They are all so quirky. My fave has to be the Little Kine shirt.

Ash, I am just dying at Lola. She is such a chub - I have read your blog for years now. I am pretty sure you were in VA with only one (??) when I first started reading. But, I don't remember either of them being like her. I love her.

You have such a beautiful family!

She is so cute!!! I love the whispys!!

Wyatt had eczema bad as a baby, the older he gets the less it comes up. He had it everywhere though, mostly his back and calves, and in creases of his arms and legs. Hes totally my allergy kid. But the thing that worked best was soap. I could only use Aveeno soap and lotion on him. And sunscreen. I had to totally limit the time he spent in baths and pools and any other water. Water makes it ten times worst. Sounds gross but I could only bathe him like once a week til he was about a yr old. It helped alot though. Ya aquaphor is good, and because his was so bad the dr ended up having to give us steroid cream when he got really bad break outs, cuz he would scratch til he had huge bloody gashes! It was awful. If u need pointers, lemme know, this was about the time wyatts started and it was pretty bad til he was about one then only came back after certain seasons and weather changes.
