the girl who does not like to have her picture taken

actually, i think she is getting better about having her picture taken these days.  here are just a few of my favorites.
this one is for my grandma who loves profile pictures. she had just figured out "there are two of me!"
playing THE marble game.
i think she would still be smiling even if this was a real snake- we are just that kind of girls.
i just love her expression here.  in case you can't tell, she is having a lot of fun.

I love the top picutre because it looks all vintage style! I love the rest of them for good composition and color. What shocks me every time I see her is how OLD she looks!! Maybe it's because her hair is pulled back!? Sych great shots and she's such a pretty girl!

i have said it before and i will say it again - awesome, awesome pictures, ashley! i do really love that top one with your mom, but i love all of them so much, your girls are getting big! i like velzy's french braid up-do's. they suit her nicely.

Ok, I'm realizing everyone else is saying the same thing, but your pictures really are great. Why is it that great pictures always make other people's lives seem better then yours?

It is always fun to peek in on the Moffat happenings. You are always doing fun things with your girls.

She looks so much like you! I would love to see a post with a picture of you and her at the same age side by side. I wonder if you guys look as much alike as I think. Oh and I love the ta-da comment from Ivy. Those are one of those moments where you have to try not to laugh and give them the wrong idea!

I love Velzy on the snake. Never seen her make that facial expression before, and you were quick to capture it. Great job, she looks lovely:)

Ash, the picture of your mom and Velzy is SO great. I love it. Please frame it.

And, I think with your love of snakes and other reptiles, you need a house full of boys, too. My kids are finding my insane paranoia of snakes funny. This evening in Target, they called me over and said, look at this! And threw a rubber snake at me, then cracked up laughing. Cool.

I love those pictures. Your children are beautiful. And you are an amazing photographer. If I was rich I would fly you out to take cool pictures of my family for me. I guess I will just have to hunt you down the next time we come out there and visit. When ever that may be...ahh sad. We miss Hawaii!

ok ok, so everyone's already said it and it doesn't seem so complimentary because it's redundant

but I too LOVE the top pic because of it's vintageNESS. i want to frame it and put it on my wall next to a Rosy Riveter postcard.

Hahaha! I loved that marble game when I was a kid. I'd still play with it all the time if I had one. I think Velz looks a lot like you, funny enough, in the bottom picture...even though I don't think I've ever seen you not smiling.
