my girls

actually, i just didn't want pee-wee on the top of my blog anymore so i found two quick pictures to post.

this is one of those pictures i look at and say "that is so ivy."  i love that it looks like the water from the plastic play place at the mall is real from the watery reflections, and what is that little expression?
and then there is this little girl.  velzy is obesssed with dressing-up when she is at grandma's house (nothing like that is allowed in our house).  she thinks she is a fairy butterfly, which is a big improvement over wanting to be a  princess last week.
have i mentioned i don't like moving?  we do it all too often- we have not lived in the same house for more than 15 months since we have been married.  i need to be packing and sorting, but i don't know what to do.  and what do you bring with you when you are only bringing 4 suitcases to stay somewhere for a year?  what would you bring?

i'm totally with you on the princess thing. addi has no idea what a princess dress is, but she does LOVE the shoes ...

4 suitcases - one year - similar climate, right? so clothes are worth the space. recipes. entertainment items (so, some crafting stuff) and i'd definitely bring my 5 quart slow cooker ... just kidding.

i don't know ... that's a tough one.

but i still have your bumbo.

and the longest, pointless comment award goes to...

it frankly overwhelms me to think about- i absolutely HATE moving! we didnt like our neighborhood but we stayed here the extra six months partly because we didnt want to move again :) lazy.

are you kidding...4 suitcases for a year?!!!!?!!! seriously, i don't think i could pack everything i'd want/need into 4 suitcases. One item I couldn't live without, aside from clothes, computer, and camera, would be movies for the kiddies (and of course that'd require a dvd player). goodluck! btw, love the pictures!

Cute girls! I love that Velzy is a princess or a fairy or something girlie. Playing dress-up is so fun when you're 3!
I can't imagine taking only 4 suitcases for a year. Good Luck with that one.

There is no way I could make it for one year in four suitcases. Are you moving into a place that is going to have dishes and stuff? I need to talk to your mom.

And, is it weird that Pee Wee grosses me out?

Wait, did I miss something? (As if you are supposed to Blog about EVERY detail in your life).

Hmmm, tough one, but if I know you, all you need is your swim suits and your boards right?Everything else is gravy!

Although, I would probably go with the underwear.

how big are they (suitcases)?
I think you can do it. just bring only the essentials, like clothes and swimwear, crafting stuff, temple cloths, and some toys and games for the kids....so much easier said than done though.

I think everyone hates moving...I hate the unpacking though, which you won't have to worry about with only 4 suitcases, so I consider you lucky!! We've already decided that we're not moving again for at least 5 years...and even after that we'd either have to have a killer offer on this house or another REALLY GOOD reason.

Good luck...movig sucks...sorry about the rhyme....

They are so cute! Why no princesses? I know you aren't into the super girly thing, but you have two girls now! Let them get it out while they are young and then they can get over it.
