a little break and a freebie

i have this problem, every time i get on the computer to get something accomplished i somehow start to look at blogs.  weird, huh?  i have some other stuff i would like to be working on right now like a talk and some craft stuff for this thing i and some friends will be doing at the end of the month.  so i am taking a break in hopes that i waste my time more wisely.
i will not blog (write new posts or look at others blogs) until i have finished the following that i keep procrastinating:
  1. my talk for sunday
  2. finish at least 2 of the 4 mermaid quilts
  3. sew another mermaid backpack
  4. 20 bobbys
  5. embroider some tea towels
  6. make a baby shower gift
that should be at least a week or so. until then, leave a comment and i will randomly choose some one to win one of these:black is the new black.
see you soon!

Haha this post makes me laugh because I do the same thing! I set limits for myself and reward myself with Blogging/computer time.

It hardly ever works, I always give in...

GOOD Luck with your projects!!

PS. I love your bobbies!

Did I mention how much I love your blog? It just makes me so happy to stop in and read about your joy. So refreshing and light and sweet.
The bobbies are adorable and if I win, I would have a hard time deciding whether to keep them for myself or give them to my niece...I think me- she'd never know.
Happy B-Day!

I love those little clips you make. The girls costumes were so cute too! Only they could wear those in Hawaii where it stays nice and warm at night. Jon wishes he was there right now. He's on surfline.com every day watching updates about pipeline swells, and what not. His friend was just there so they texted everyday discussing how awesome the surf is right now. I think we'll be coming out there again in the next year or two. It looks like it's a vacation spot Jon will not neglect to visit again. Hope you're doing well!!!!

Oh my gosh, I do the same thing! The computer always makes me less productive. I have so many things I need to be working on-I'm doing a boutique with my stuff at the beginning of December to get ready for the holidays. I need to bust out my sewing machine but don't have the motivation, LOL!

I seem to put off my commenting for once a week now. That dang google reader makes it easy to do! OK, first, I love There is Sunshine in my Soul Today. I don't think you can sing it without smiling. Second, happy b-day to you! I have a ton of friends and family that have their birthdays right now. I guess I just like Scorpios! Third, good luck getting all those projects done. I heard from a business expert that you should do the hardest task first and work from there!

I'm right up there with the procrastinating. When I have a paper due for school I blog pretty much everyday, just to keep from having to work on it! I can't wait to enjoy your talk:)

wow! you are WAY more productive than i've ever been! that list would take me a good month to complete! you put me to shame! maybe i should dig out my sewing machine, that is if i can find it in the boxes that are piled up in our garage! i guess i should wait until we organize the garage first!
