"i want to go on the boat too"

"no velz, i am not going on a boat, i am going to go vote."
voted yesterday. it felt good. i am a little bummed i didn't get a sticker that said "i voted."
i am interested in what this new "change" i have heard so much about is going to be.
and good job california for passing prop 8! you really are golden.

if velzy and i (and ivy and ruby) were going on a boat this is what it would look like:
(pictures from months ago on our friends catamaran that i just remembered jill sent me. thanks again jill.)

Yeah! Change would be pretty good right about now. Oh, how I wish I could go on the boat too!
Rad Halloween costumes, but anything would look cute on those little ones. Here's to saving some of the candy for the kids:)

so, boats are cool. and votes are cool.

so, you're cool because you've been on a vote and you vote, even without a sticker.

and we should play tomorrow ... hmmm, maybe i'll text you rather than rely on the blogging world to relay such time-sensitive material.

haha!!
that reminds me of all the little ones around here yesterday. Kaiya kept saying "I wanna go to the boat" cause we left her here with Shanae, when we went. and Lili told us she was going to "go on a boat" when they were all leaving so her parents could vote.
kids crack me up!

I am so relieved that prop 8 passes! Well, it was quite a historic day. Our kids will learn about this in school on day!

I didn't get the i voted sticker either! And I heard they were giving out all sorts of freebies to people who voted! Good job for voting and yes, California is still golden, and not a flaming rainbow...ooh, that might not have been pc.. sorry.

Yes, I love to boat and vote, equally...well, maybe boat more. But, I was on my way out the door around 6:00pm to vote and I turned on the TV for a little and McCain was already giving his concession speech...so...I didn't vote. I said, "What's the point? It's over!" I was bummed, BUT I stayed up until 10 or something (super late for me) watching the prop 8 stuff! Hooray for Cali! I definitely had my doubts, but I am so happy that it passed! Big sigh of relief!

Hey you. I love our blog and yes those costumes are so cute. Good job on voting, so proud. I was bummed I did not get a sticker as well. We vote by mail since our residency is till in CA and we could vote YES on prop. 8. And YES it won. Our prayers were answered. Good to see you. Matt and I have a blog now, so check it out any time: mattandmarcie.blogspot.com
