grandma arts 101

embroidery night was a success!  look at how great everyone did- and of course we took a picture, because if it is not blogged about it might not have even happened!
thanks for coming and playing last night girls, it was really fun- let's do it again some time!

My MAD embroidery skills are apparent... or not... hahahaha. Thanks Ash for taking the time (and supplies) to show us how to be some wicked cool grandmas. I love it. Now, I'm staring at my plain white aprons envisioning embroidery on them!

I need to learn how to embroider. I bought some felt squares and the thread, I just need to start practicing. I want to make those felt flower clips.

I love the Grandma arts - I'm just not very good at them. It looks like your class was super fun!

I'm back in California and seriously considering making a quick trip to Michael's and Joann Fabrics to buy some embroidery stuff even though I really should stay home and put away my clothes.
