downpour

i swear they wear clothes, but we had just gotten back from the beach and were having a picnik outside. ivy had a total blowout out on my blanket (nasty) and i had just finished hosing her off. velzy ran back outside from a potty break and all of the it sudden started to downpour. of course ivy jumped out from cover and started running around, and i tried to pull her back, but ya know what? running around in the rain is fun.

Fun, playing in the rain in warm weather, what can be better?
Yes, I want a blanket, couch size?? Not too big, not too small, something to cuddle with during a good movie or take in the car as we road trip to Tahoe!!
Is your whole family coming to CA in October, let me know the dates too!

Thought I'd comment here about the shave ice...I've always wondered the very same thing. Why not move down a little bit and get some really good shave ice with homemade syrup? All in the name I guess.

We got the same rain later, just not as hard, kids on my street were outside playing too!

Have you been to El Palenque yet?

Yes it is! Some of my best memories in Hawaii come from playing in the rain. My favorite is when the big field in front of the school fills up with water. I remember one day Jaron and I rode our bikes down there with body boards to play around in it.

Those are great pictures of the girls too =o)

Super cute and so fun! It was great seeing you last night! Your kids are adorable. PS- Keli'i told me today, "You know who's a good mom?" I said, "Who?" He said, "Ashley Moffat. I watched her last night with her girls and she really impressed me." High praise from a guy who's not all that much of a praiser...And he's definitely right!

Playing in the rain is so fun, but only in Hawaii where the rain is as warm as the air around you. Here you feel like it's about to turn into hail. Not pleasant. These pictures are precous(?).

The lavender is on it's way. Don't feel obligated at all to send me any of the rad stuff in return. You are way too generous.

El Palenque is fabulous, and what are your travel dates.... I'm wondering if Velzy will be three in Hawaii or California.

Man, I miss those tropical downpours! It started thundering and raining this morning and wanted to run outside and run around in the rain, then realized it was probably cold and gloomy and just not the same! I can't believe that one picture is rain! It looks like someone is throwing buckets on your lil girl! Oh, and sorry about the blow out- yeah, those don't sound as fun as the rain:)
