feeling better...

lots of shave ice makes you feel lots better...
and the more times you eat it the better you get...
obviously, velz is all better, thanks to shave ice therapy.  today was the first day she has really been herself, the last few have been whiney annoying almost all better days.  why is it that when your kids are really sick you have all the patience in the world, then when they start to get better (read: annoying) that patience goes out the door?
anyways, brock left today- he was out here working (and skating, surfing, becoming a pounders local, and shave ice aficionado).  for the last few days he stayed with us, which was fun but sad that he had to hang out with us in less than par health conditions.  thanks for playing with us jester.  this ones for you (photo credit velzy):
younger women dig brock.  this is velzy's new friend mahina.  she lives in the house that we live in the back of, and is always over here.  i was so happy school started this week...
oh, and remember that little black kitten that i mentioned a while ago?  i had been watching her get sicker and sicker everyday and i was feeling so bad for her that we took her and had the humane society come get her.  hopefully they are nursing her back to health, and if not at least she is not suffering any more, but i really hope that they are nursing her back to health.
the kitty and my jr animal activist:
and this was after we gave her a bath and cleaned her eyes so that she could open them, she looked pretty nasty, but it was so cute how into it velzy was.  the kid loves her animals and bugs.

Oh how I miss the shave ice!! You really don't realize how lucky you are until you don't have it anymore! And the picture of the cat is hilarious Ash- that cat is such a mongrel but it's cute your daughter loves it anyway!

I'm so glad she's better. I don't have any more patience when my kids are sick than when they're well. Maybe you can give me some pointers! That shave ice looks so tasty but the kitty, a little scary. Glad you're seeing she's taking care of though.

poor kitty, you are the good samaritan for doing that. and good to hear that the kids are all better - i am in there with you with the patience thing. when they are sick, you just want them to be normal and annoying again. haha! yummy shave ice! sometimes we go to angels and get some, with vanilla ice cream on the bottom, of course! haleiwa is too far outta the way! whenever you are wanting to go to the beach, give me a ring. me and my kids are always game:-)
