flyin' solo

today is the first whole day that i am at home with the two little ones by myself. i have to admit i was a little nervous at first but i think that things are going to be ok. in the last week velzy has become a really sweet big sister. we have not had any hair pulling attempts (at least on ivy) for a week and she is full of kisses and hugs (or loving body-slams, whatever you want to call them) and gets concerned when she cries. it's cute. i think that they are going to have a lot of fun together...somehow i got lucky and they are both sleeping right now, so nice to have peace and quiet for an hour or so! and of course i should be doing lots of other things, but here i sit wasting time. maybe i will go and do some spit-up laundry...

That is hilarious! I think V must think Ivy's just another one of her dolls that is just super cool and does a lot more than her other dolls!

I think they'll be close. Glad to hear you're getting some down time.

I love that pic. I have a similar one with Bree and Eden. The babies ARE as tiny as the dolls and fit perfectly.

Sleep woman! If your kids are down, go rest, don't do laundry.

I am absolutely cracking up right now. I'm so glad I don't have a doll stroller because Kaleb would insist on pushing Asher around ALL DAY LONG. I'm not even kidding. On walks, Kaleb has to push the stroller or screams. SCREAMS. They are going to be best friends. With a few loving body slams thrown in.

That picture is SO CUTE Ashley. At first I thought Ivy was a doll! And then I realized it was your tiny newborn. She looks so alert already though. Very cute.

I thought it was a doll too. That is so cute! Velzy already seems so much older. I can't wait to have another one so Trent can do stuff like that with his little brother/sister.
