i am not going back to bed. there is a battle raging between the scraping table and my pillow right now... i have not scrapped in a while, i need to scrap right now, i want to scrap right now, and if i don't i will not scrap for another week and a half. connie and riley (luke's parents) are coming into town tomorrow for the next 10 days. it's going to be fun to have them here, i just hope that velzy is a happy camper while they are here. last time they saw here, at christmas, she was sort of a pill whenever they were around and i want to show them the fun kid that she is. no more crying whenever connie holds you, try to be happy in the car, show them how much fun you can be... but how do you tell that to a nine month old? i know luke is really looking forward to their visit, it sort of breaks up the monotony of virginia life, and that is always a welcome thing.
one little problem though- i just had to go suck the snot out of her nose so that she could breath and go back to sleep. not that there is ever a good time for a cold but why do these things always come at the wrong time? ahhh, please get better. please, please, get better.

Hey Ashley,it's me Melinda! I talked to Lauren today and she told me you had a blog. cool! I have one too, although it is pretty boring. I feel like it takes too long sometimes to post. Besides that, I don't really scrapbook and it seems like everyone that I has a blog, scrapbooks. I guess I kind of scrap, I have a few pages complete, but haven't since Taylor was born.
