the time difference

luke has been waking up at 4 in the am. he is slightly crazy. anytime you call waking up at 5 am "sleeping in" you know there is something wrong. it's actually nice, because he gets home from work early and we all get to play together. the downside- he likes to turn in for the night around 9 some days and i am left alone to squander away the hours of the night. unfortunately, this evening i got my second wind around eleven. i was on my way to bed when it hit. i made the mistake of not working out today so if i did go to be i would have laid there with restless leg syndrome. the worst. anyways, my sewing machine just happened to be on the table so after i put together some "B's" for happy school tomorrow (steph's post adequately describes happy school), i worked on a polkadot dress for a polka dot party we are going to this weekend (i struggled), and made some bows. i have this problem, when i start making something that i am excited about i tend to make a whole lot of them- 11 in this case. but they are so cute in velzy's hair. and yup, that middle blue one is mushrooms. coolest old garage sale fabric ever.
so yeah, it's late. my sewing machine is put away, most of my mess is clean and i just noticed my battery is going to die. time for bed. nighty-night.

You make me laugh so hard. What a great wat to burn energy! I need to start using my sewing machine so I can have something to show when the day is done. That dress is adorable and those bows turned out SO cute.

So cute! You made all that in one sitting????? Amazing. I wonder if I could make that much in one sitting my my machine didn't malfunction...thread get knotted, or breaking. But very cute none the less. I am basically just jealous of your skills.

i hate u! why are u so crafty! i cant do any of that crap! if i pulled out a sewing machine somehow i am sure i would sew myself into my shirt sleeve or have whatever nifty fabric i try to use attached to my boob or god only knows what else! i want your crafty-ness. :(

ps as i sit and type this i keep seeing lukes mustache outta the corner of my eye and i laugh, hysterically. he looks like he should be on that 70's show, or on the side of a milk carton with a missing childrens report. lol

You crazy girl! If I had the chance to be in bed by 9... I'd be there....
But maybe not if I had the talent to create such darling things...
I wish we lived closer so we could do a big craft night...
But you know... when we did both live in MD we never got together...So maybe it is all a dream...cause i'm in bed sleeping while you are sewing...
