velzy and i got it out when we put ivy down for a nap and she got really into the idea of making a quilt for her baby. so, she pieced her first quilt top. actually she is adding to it right now because she says it needs to be bigger! and since i am not allowed to help, i am blogging about it.
not to brag, but i think she did a pretty god job. i can't wait to sew it so she can use it.
p.s. there were to huge heaps of fabric so if anyone wants an aloha print baby or baby doll blanket, let me know!

Hey friend! You ROCK!! How fun that you have your girls quilting already. I would love to get some for a my little man that is due in November. We have absolutely nothing aloha or surfer dude for him yet! I feel like a bad surfer Mom ;) Anyway, email me when you get a chance- beckyajones79@gmail.com ;)
I so want a blanket. I will even buy the fabric from you. I need to learn to sew and maybe make one.
I want a blanket too, Eamons room is surfer babe! I am not in California anymore or I would love to have a quilt making day together.

i like your choices there!
I love Velzs little, cute dress. And I love how you are documenting your cool moments on your trip & not just plopping down the photos. You should be a journalist.
