adios

we are out of here. well, not really till thursday, but i am sort of totally done with looking at a computer, so i am signing off now.
i am so excited.
SPAIN!
tomorrow we are going to the pageant of the masters in laguna. which i am really looking forward to. i love going there. and, i am interested to hear what luke thinks of it- to sum it up really quick it is a big art show in an open air amphitheater at night, where they make pieces of art super huge and have people stand in where they are painted in the actual piece of art. does that make sense? google it. it's really cool. my mom's family has been going for years and years and i have not been for a while so it should be really fun.
tuesday i get to drive up to the city of passport angels and get my much awaited new passport.
thursday we leave at 6 in the am to fly a long flight to spain. it's gonna be a long flight, but i am pumped. come to think of it, i need to find a book to read. any suggestions?
anyways, we are really stoked. luke has pretty much planned the whole thing because, let's be honest, he is the planner between the two of us. if it was me putting this together we would have no plans and no idea what we were going to do. which would be cool, but i think things will run a bit smoother knowing where we want to go and what we want to do and see. and he knows the areas we are visiting. i can't wait to just be walking around some cool old cobble stone street and follow him around a corner and have some amazing cathedral be standing there in all it's glory. or to get off a train or bus and see some amazing little town or beach just waiting for us to tromp all over it. ah, i am happy just thinking about it. we have a lot of fun in store for the next two weeks.

and
i
might
just
miss
my little miss
and
my mini me
but they are going to be in good hands.
ah, how i love these little people.
i hope they are good.
i hope they don't miss us too much.
i hope my mom still likes them after two whole weeks.

ok, that's enough. adios.

Have fun in Spain! I'm glad your passport worked out. That sepia toned picture of the girls on the surf board is rad.

The Poisonwood Bible was very good.
Loved that one. I would also recommend Away, by Amy Bloom (light and easy read); anything by Phillipa Gregory; anything by Jodi Piccoult.
I have heard that The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is great. I want to read it.
Anyway. Love to read. Hopefully you will find something good!

Eat, Pray, Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert. I LOVED that book, and it is about a traveling adventure to Italy, India and Indonesia. It is very funny and inspiring, IMO.
Have lots of fun, you lovey lovebirds!

Are we really allowed to leave and do stuff like travel? I thought all that stuff is put on hold until, umm, uh. I'm so excited for you, jealous of you, inspired by you... Have a great trip. No food poison o.k.
Heard of twilight? ha ha. Harry Potter? tee hee. You'll have time in the airport WITH NO KIDS to look for a winner. Laters.
