dry spell

i have not been surfing, let alone in the ocean, for almost a month. and with the water looking as brown and bacteria infected as it is, i don't think we will be getting in the water this weekend either- it's just not worth being sick again. i have been sick in one way or another since we got here and am just now feeling like myself and don't really want to take a step backwards in the health arena. but i have started seeing waves in really random places-

I'm sorry. When we first moved here I used to cry at the drop of the "H" word. I missed it so so much. I don't know what is worse--that or the fact that now it all seems like a dream. Hang in there! :)

I am going crazy haven't surfed in over a week and that was SUP-ing, too! Lauren & I tried to go today, but crappy and ran instead, which I still HATE! Hopefully good weather and surf on Saturday the 21st, hubby is off, so we can do an all day beach day/bonfire and hang w/ the RV together!!

got brown water going on over here, too. RAIN, as usual. and so not worth getting sick -- you're right. hang in there.

Well, if there's no surf there, come on over to our neck of the woods for some fort building... it's really not that far, and you need a good road trip under your family's belt.

Sorry for the bad weather, but this is proof you guys can endure just about anything.

don't worry there's bacteria water here too. i was so angry when i recently read that a Navy ship dropped 500 gallons of raw sewage into the ocean on town side...when they had some technical difficulties and then a Navy plant had a major leak last month too. they didn't report it until cornered about it. get your crap together Navy!
