"the hands that help others are holier than those that pray"

i have no idea who said that quote but i love it, i came across it last week as i was looking through a little notebook of mine that had a bunch of quotes written in it.  this particular one popped back into my head on sunday when we got out of church a half hour early so that every one could go home and help those in our ward who needed things brought out of their houses, have dump runs made, cook meals for those without working kitchens, wash their laundry, ect.  it was awesome to watch tons of members of our youth and elders quorums come to our neighbors houses and help them out.  i am sure there was nothing better to do on a sunday afternoon than give service, which totally validates this quote to me.

It actually makes CA water look good and clean, for once! See ya in a few weeks! We head out to Tahoe for a week after Christmas, but will be back Jan. 4th!
