i might have gained 5 pounds in the last week

reason #1:
#2: it is impossible for me to work out when i am on "vacation" even though i have a pair or running shoes that stay at my parents so that i can work out when i am here.
#3: ruby's pumpkin milkshakes.
#4: my mom has candy stashed in various places. and even though womens health magazine says that junior mints are the least fattening haloween candy to eat, i don't think it matters when you eat almost a whole giant box of them at midnight.
#5: when you go to soup plantation with my dad you have to eat your $8.95 worth of all-you-can eat salad, pizza, soft-serve. you just do.

just a few reasons off the top of my head. really, i just wanted to post this picture i took of the fries cause my mom and dad laughted at me for taking it.

yeah, blogging has driven me to take pictures of the strangest things, just to post. i find myself taking pictures of food all the time. and you can seriously afford to gain 5 pounds, ashley. you will probably burn it off like that, with the surf and all. i, on the other hand, need to stop eating altogether.

Food is such a love hate relationship. I love to eat it but hate what it makes me look like:) In-N-Out, YUMMY!!

Girlfriend, that is what vacations are all about! Glad you are enjoying yourself! In-in-out gets you all the time. When you live around it though you rarely go- but when you are visiting you have to get your "at least 3 times" quota in:) And Ruby's has pumpkin milkshakes you say?? Now that just sounds too good! I am a sucker for their banana chocolate, but i might have to go check out this pumpkin edition;)

oh man! I am about ready to hop in a car and drive the 8 hours to the closest In'n'out now! And I have the exact same problem when I go down to CA..... there's just too much good food and usually so little time to workout with every second spent with the fam and catching up on everything in CA that you miss!

Isn't there a five pound minimum to vacationing weight gain? I don't know the circumstances of why Ivy has no shirt on, but I love a place that allows no shirts. She was so into that burger.

LOVE Ivy's pict, who needs a shirt when you have a burger to munch! NICE!
glad you're having fun, and if you seriously went running on your vacation, i'd be very disappointed!

I totally put on 5lbs. this summer while we were in the States, and I can't seem to get it off! Zach laughs at me all the time for wanting to take pictures of food we eat at restaurants. He just doesn't understand blogging ;-)
