a quickie

just because.

today velzy was helping me fold some laundry, and took out a shirt of mine that i let her wear to bed last week.  she started rolling it (her preferred method of folding) and she looks at me and says "mommy, your so nice for sharing your clothes with me."  it was soooo cute.

then yesterday i was putting ivy in her car seat when we were leaving sunset (beach) and out of the corner of my eye i see velzy squat and pee then get up like nothing happened.  the best part was there was a huge excursion limo full of japanese tourists just filling out and they got the whole show, all i could do was laugh.

today i was changing ivy's diaper and she yawned, and i just happened to notice that there was hot pink crayon stuck in her upper molars.  i love when she colors.  and she is obsessed with balls, spitting, necklaces and bracelets, shoes, and thinks she is a fish.

and the velzy and ivy show keeps getting better and better, i love watching the two of them together.  today i came outside to see each of them biting the end of velzy's bike handles just waiting for me to come see them, as soon as they saw me they stared laughing and dancing (to the blondie that was blasting).  and they wrestle all the time, which is so funny to see butterball ivy and string bean velzy rolling all over the bed.

sigh, love them.  hope they are always bestest buddies.

Sisters make the best friends! They are so cute! Yes, Kirk is in school. I was so excited for him, but sad at the same time. Am I really that old? I keep waiting to feel older, but it's just not coming!
That Honolulu aquarium looks awesome.

Your girls are so funny! I love that you keep such a good sense of humor too :) Hey, how did you make your header? I want to start a blog to sell my clips and want to make my own header but don't know how?

What I admire more than your girls sweet friendship and Velzy's quirky and silly way of going through life is your ability to laugh and see the beauty of their age. You're a great mommy, and I have a lot to learn from you on being a more easy going mom. Maybe I've just been away from HI too long.

They will always be BFF's. That is the greatest thing about having kids so close together. I absolutely get giddy when my kids are sweet to each other.

I love the pics of the girls on the side. Such naughty little grins!
