another lie:

i always claim that i hate aloha print stuff. and to a degree i do- you know the cheesy hibiscus two tone aloha print? yeah, that stuff, i really really don't like it.
a couple weeks ago betsy and i took off and went to the "fabric mart" in kaneohe, home of- i am not exaggerating- almost a thousand cool aloha print fabrics, and some lame ones too.
i have not been into sewing lately, mainly cause we don't have a kitchen table to sew on, but this got me motivated. so i actually cut some fabric and sewed it together and this is what i got:
me loves the browns and tans.
and could minky be more snugly? i want to wrap my body in it and fall asleep forever.
anyways, it is for sale on etsy, cause i have no reason to keep it. and i got some more really cool fabric as well that i hope to make some more blankets with. let's home the momentum keeps rolling.

I love that blanket! You did such a great job...maybe one day I'll be able to sew like you. I need you to put some aloha print fabric on your etsy so I can buy some to make my own creations! PS. Mia's birthday is next month in case you want to make her anything, LOL ;-)

here! here!...I am so not a fan of aloha print. I made sure Brady was well aware of that. But I do really like the blanket you made! The print isn't too busy or all up in your face… and the colors aren’t blinding. Very cozy looking too, you are such a talented girl. I remember when you made a bunch of little beach backpacks for everyone...those were so cute.

soooo AWESOME!!! For the life of me I can not figure out how to get that nice edge you do. I know you're selling them, but if you find it in your heart to school me a little I would be ever so grateful! I thought you were beaching it? Did you surf and sew?? YOU ARE THE WOMAN!
