i love this time of day- around 10 in the am when ivy is naping. sometimes i am a fun mom and we do playdough or color or read but today velzy is watching the little mermaid, her movie of choice these days- which reminds me that i still want to be a mermaid when i grow up. if amy's kid can be a ninja turtle when he grows up there is no reason that i can't be a mermaid. i have this little obsession latley...

i have hired an old roomie to steal this for me so i can hang it from my cealing:
if i were to ever get a tatoo, i would get this: actually, more like this with the two bebes:and it would be huge on my right side on my ribs....good thing i would never do it, huh?

if i wore necklaces i would get this:
and this is a cute one too: there is so much cool mermaid stuff out there- but it has to be old/vintagey looking, like the ones on the necklace to be really cool.
velzy just brought me a can of chicken of the sea tuna pointing to the mermaid "mom, mermaid!" maybe i will pass this obsession on...
anyways, my velzy quite time is up- having wasted it all on etsy looking for cool mermaid stuff, i am now going to go make some playdough snakes.

did you pretend to turn into ariel everytime you touched water too? We've led such similar lives.

that tape was seriously loved at the moffat house! that one, and slash. that was the funnest thing to pretend! and we play it in the tub with jord. the mermaid never dies in girlies.
oh and ash, that tattoo... save that for when you and luke retire and travel cross country on a harley with a side car.

maybe you could just shrink up the giant mermaid tattoo a bit & get it somewhere not huge on your ribs, but where only luuukeey luke could see it. Now that would be hot. And where could we find you that necklace because it is very cool...

If I had that mermaid on my ceiling, Chad would sit around and stare at her boobs! I would never hear that end of it.

so do all mermaids have huge hooters or just the ones you like????? :) cracking me up! the one hanging from the ceiling makes me want to stare!

mermaids freak me out, remember the ones on Peter Pan, all mean to Wendy? I think i'd be scared of them, although I did love the movie SPlash, that was cool!

Mermaids are so cool!

I hope you get that one to hang in your house!

Those tats are too much though and look like you would need A lot of something to take the pain away when you got them....good thing you won't.
