i saw an episode of my old favorite t.v. show the other day, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. in fact i don't think i have enjoyed a t.v. show that much in a long time. but now, all i really want in life is to be an american gladiator. i guess a more realistic goal would be to be a competitor on the show, gosh i wish this was 1994 so i could.
no t.v. show reminds me more of my old man than the aforementioned. i remember watching it with him, getting pumped, wanting to be as strong as ice- check out those legs, and those arms! b-uff! wishing i could do the joust with the larger than life q-tips, race upside down on the skytrack, or run my way through the eliminator. whoever came up with this tv show was a genius. games like power ball, hang tough, the gauntlet, whiplash (yep, the one with the huge dog bone), and the assult- so good.
time to go train.

Oh Ash! Great goal! You could do it and win I bet. I like how you call your dad your "old man"!He's probably in better shape than most people my age!
Oh my gosh! My sister and I used to watch this show, too. Saturday mornings, right? I can see Eric getting into it. You guys should totally go on it if it is still on.
once again parallel lives. david and i were watching this the other day and totally reminded of childhood also. (pre 5th grade days) good times when the billings had TV.
Classic. We used to always watch this in our house! So funny. Remember when they had to fight on the beam with the double sided foam sticks? So funny!
