it is done! little miss ivy's quilt- not baby quilt because it it huge- is finished! it looks super good, if i do say so myself. and i must give a shout out to my mom who helped A LOT!
my friend kelly had it quilted for me in utah. i just can't say enough, how good it looks, i love it!
there are over 40 fabrics in it, and they are all so cute!so now that we are moving i have finally got a cute little girls room together (pictures someday soon, promise).
in other ivy news, she has moved into velzy's room and for the last two nights has actually gone seven hours between feedings. thank you ivy!!!! soon she will take over velzy's crib and velzy will be in a big girl bed! can't wait to see how that goes.

oh my gosh it does look so good! if you want it to get that crinkly vintage look, wash it warm delicate cycle then dry on high. it will be even cuter! so so cute
ps- could you be any hotter in that bikini with your little tummy and huge nursing boobs?
pps- congrats on the job! that rocks! we will have to come visit!
Oh my gosh, that is gorgeous!!!!!!!!! What a priceless gift she will love forever. She can take it to college and have it on her bed when she gets married!! I'm glad you made it big. Babies outgrow their baby quilts so fast. I love all the fabrics, especially the floral print on the back. It's beautiful.
Oh, I guess I missed a few posts. I didn't see the beach pictures. You DO look good! Looks like you had a lot of fun in Hawaii and Ivy looks beautiful in her little white blessing dress.
ITS AMAZING!!! It turned out soo perfect adn PRETTY! I love the pict of both girls laying on it!
SO pretty! I love the colors & what a perfect background for photos. cute pics.
love the quilt!
does this mean you're back?
Ash, (& Daren) it looks GREAT! So beautiful. Congrats on Ivy sleeping for 7 hours! Isn't it amazing how much better you feel after a few good nights worth of sleep??
Okay, just a tiny bit of advice. I would think about waiting to move Velzy to a bed. She's still SO little. Unless you want to endure bedtime with her getting out of bed 1000 times. Kaleb is STILL in a crib. We waited until Ethan was about 2 1/2 until we were brave enough for the big move. Do you have a pack and play that Ivy could sleep in? Just my opinion, you do what will work for you. Maybe Velz will stay in her bed???
And I second Kelly's opinion, you do look great and the nursing boobs rock, even though I know you hate them!!
Ash- That quilt is awesome! Wait to go. My sis made Liv a quilt and it is my favorite blanket!
Ash- It's so pretty. You've got skills (so does your mom)!
What a great gift to give to your babies.
That quilt is amazing. Wow, I can't wait to see your cute little girls room!!
Okay, I hate nursing boobs. They are too big and annoying. One more month until I get my normal sized boobs back and I'm counting down the days!!
The quilt is beautiful! I love all of the fabrics. Your ambition paid off!
I have to admit that when I first read Kelly's comment about huge nursing boobs and then congrats on the job, I did question . . . j/k
I just caught up on your posts--that is so exciting about moving to Oahu!!! I'm so happy for you and your family.
I second Tonya's advice about staying in the crib as long as possible. I love uninterrupted sleep.
hey I like the new header shot. Do you know how you go it so it wasn't HUGE? I tried to put a picture there too and it was the size of the whole screen.
That quilt is adorable! What a great job you did, I love all the different fabrics.
That is so cool Ashley. What talent. Please post photos soon of their rooms!
