was this really just a year ago? it seems like so so long ago, but also like yesterday that Velz was a balled up little new born sleeping all cuddled up on my chest. i stand amazed at what happens to babies in the short space of a year. how do they grow and learn so much? how do they go from being helpless balls of baby to walking squaking toddlers in just 12 short months?
i am amazed.
(luke doesn't really look that stoned all the time and no babies were harmed in the taking of these photograph, maybe a little upset, but not harmed)
this is a second attempt at the pumpkin patch from a few weeks ago, she was so funny, and loved beating on the huge pumpkins!

You are so right. Time absolutely flies. In the blink of an eye, I have a 3 1/2 year old. I'm sure in another blink of an eye, I will be sending these little babies on missions and they will return as men. Unfathomable.

dear melinda- you are a blogging slacker. but at least i saw it coming when you said that you were starting back up with school- btw, how's that going? busy, busy.
things are good, and i am feeling good and seriously can't wait to find out if it's a girl or boy, with my luck we probably won't be able to tell when i do get the ultrasound. so same-old, same-old, but i spend everyday dreading the winter!
