one of my new favorite things is long morning walks in the woods and around the lake by our house. velzy has never been a big fan of sitting for long periods of time- like over 10 min- but lately she has been doing really good sitting in the stroller for at least an hour before she starts to get fussy, and even then she is not that bad. Every morning at 7:45 we meet our friend Erin and her baby olivia and go walk around the lake. i love this. its so nice to get out and do something active first thing in the morning, we just jump on the trail behind our house and we are off.these pics are from this morning after our walk. i just thought that her little outfit was so cute
when she was walking around that i had to run inside and get the camera. she has rediscovered her tongue in the last 2 days and walks around with it sticking out. my favorite is when she has been drinking blue gatorade and it is stained blue, people don't know what to think. oh, and that's our cool new truck behind her- the tundra! i love love love it. it sucks to park but it is great to be able to sit in the frond seat again (we had a tacoma before and i had to sit in the back while v rode shotgun). velzy is doing a little better in the car now that she is facing forward too.i just got so distracted velzy woke up and had to have some string cheese. so what was i saying?
yes, well, i really like walks.last night we all went to Bucca De Beppo for dinner with some people from lukes work- if you have never been to one of these restaurants, you must go. they are so good! family style Italian dinners in the coolest atmosphere with lots of funny old pics on the wall- just don't get offended by the many many pics of naked women. i think they are great. velzy went crazy eating everything that was placed in front of her, can't wait to change her diaper this afternoon! how long till she can be potty trained? anyways, i don't even like alfredo sauce but they make the best fettuchine supreme- broccoli, chicken, red peppers, let me just say YUM!
so that's it around here. velzy is taking paper out of the trash and eating it so i think i should go get her some lunch.

You rock. It is so great to get outside first thing in the morning. It makes for a better day, all around. I haven't had the energy to do it yet with 3 munchkins. But, I will.
Okay, how adorable is Velzy's tongue pic?!? That girl is so awesome. She can totally hook up with any of my boys. She can have her pick.
