Randomness from the last week

our internet was MIA for a week and it's good to be back.
first and foremost- we found an apartment and are moving in 10 days. i am really excited, it is a 2-bedroom, so the little one will finally get her own room and i can do something other than be locked in my room when she is asleep! can't wait, it's going to be so nice. i am especially stoked because we are on the ground level and have a little patio that goes to a large grass area then to the woods! it will be so nice to open a slider and be able to play outside. no more stuck in a cage on the 3rd floor!
also, my grandma and aunt came to town last week and they did all the d.c. stuff then they played with us for a few days. i miss having family close by. that is the worst part about living back here i think. but it was really fun, we went to mt vernon and up to the amish. good times. i am being too lazy to write more details.
heres some random pics.
we went to the thrift store and go these flower pots then decorated them with some crazy asian newspaper. they look really cool. i can't wait to plant something in them. mmm, cilantro! i wish i had thought of this idea on my own but in anthropology they had some pots with news paper on them.
so i have never posted a layout on here but i figured why not? i love this one. it took like 3 minutes but i think that it is one of my favorites. we are inside the washington monument, where every state and a bunch of other groups donated stones to build it and this is the one from hawaii. "no ka io" is in referral to "hawaii no ka oi"- which means hawaii is the best, we say it a lot. velzy playing with blocks, i just loved that she likes to play with blocks. she love to knock stuff down when i build it and thinks that it is funny. its so cool to see her personality coming out. luke and i always laugh when she toots and the other day she totally ripped one and looked at us and laughed- auntie nancy would be proud!

i mean, "proud" not "pound". give me a break, i just drove like 12 hours from utah to california with jordan devard. who wouldn't be a little out of it in those circumstances...
