terrible two's?

whoever made up that little rhyme is a liar.

three's suck.

it might just be the heat, or the fact that it's that time of the month, or that i am tired, or that three year olds want to be too independent and think they the world, or that mine has lost the use of her ears whenever she is told to do anything, or that she does not take naps and needs major hands on attention all the time right now, or the fact that there is this whiney voice that keeps coming our of her mouth and she wants or needs any and everything. it could be one or any mixture of these things and others that i am too hot to type.
either way, i love the terrible 2's.
and 3's?  well, maybe not this moment.
check back tomorrow.

My almost three year old is a little moody but my almost five year old WATCH OUT! She acts like she is a teenager and ... thats just not quite so fun yet!

Yeah, we never really noticed the "terrible 2's" but we are approaching 3 and the attitude is growing and growing...there is screaming when unhappy and an attitude beyond her years. Oh well, I guess it's the price we pay. Maybe a bad attitude now means a good attitude when older??

I totally agree it is the terrible three's not two's! They get so independent, can talk back, whine all the time, etc.... thank goodness mine turns four this week, ha! ha! I think it is a girl thing, I am the oldest of 4 girls and my biggest fear was to have a girl! Love her but definitely my pistol, boys are way easier and a lot less emotional! See ya Friday!

yeah, um, i'd like to correct edit that saying to be the "terrible toddler" stage...when are they NOT a toddler anymore, though?? because faith will be 5, and she still has moments. yikes...

Agree...the older the kid, the bigger the problem and attitude. Having kids is tough!

3 was WAY worse than 2!!! It seemed more like "Hormonal threes" or something. So emotional..

3's DO Suck!!

Oh, I feel the exact same way about 3's. Seriously, 2 was a cake walk compared to 3 so far. They've learned how to be sassy and talk back, which is my biggest complaint about this age so far. Luckily there are moments when they're really cute and sweet which help us get through those not so fun times, barely.

The three's were the worst for us too. It's the pits when they won't take naps, need lots of attention, and want to be independent but really can't handle it. And the whining is like daggers to the brain!
Get through it anyway you can - the four's are better.
We'd love to see you in August! Keep us posted.
