last night we had the best college boyfriend/girlfriend photo shoot taking our own pictures, and i loved every minute of it. i felt like i was back in my room in the animal house, the only thing missing was nancy knocking on the door and various other roommates in the living room screaming or doing something annoying. and nanc, i loved when you would come hang out with me and luke, please come do it again soon!
we just got done taking down v's crib, and now she's sleeping so we are taking a break from finishing packing. and tomorrow we move! yae! the only bummer is that our internet will take almost 2 weeks to get hooked up. i am sad, i will miss blogging. but that does mean that there is one less distraction and i will get our new little home arranged.
oh, and i am going to california on the 14th of september for a week. the grandparents really want to see the little walker- and why wouldn't they? i am convinced, as all mothers are, that velzy is the cutest thing to ever walk the planet. so i am happy they get to see her, and happy to see them. i do, however, always feel bad leaving luke alone in the lone and dreary world. poor guy. he's so nice to let me leave in multiple times a year to go hang out in california.

Cute picture! You both look really good in that picture. I can totally picture Nancy walking right in if she were there. I saw her this last weekend. She came over to my Mom's house. It was good to see silly nance. She's still the same person. Hi Nance!

i miss coming in the room and cuddling with you and luke too!! well, at least next week i'll get to cuddle with just you! (sorry luke...can't wait to see you! don't know when...but someday i'll get out there!) i miss you guys...i got a little teary reading this one...remembering the good old days...where did they go? i want them back!
